The National Executive Council of GCUOBA met on 18th January 2010 at the Ekiugbo residence of the erstwhile President General Worldwide, Deacon Gamaliel Onosode, OFR. NEC took a number of decisions which were endorsed by the Annual General Meeting of January 19th 2010 as follows:

Sir Joseph Arumemi Ikide boost GCUOBA Lagos Branch with N50m
Government College, Ughelli Old Boys’ Association Lagos Branch’s Annual Luncheon Party held on Sunday 6th December, 2009, was well attended by several prominent, successful and accomplished Old Boys who had made indelible marks in the society - in academia, business and government.
