A CLARION CALL ON OLD STUDENTS

This institution was one of the pioneering secondary schools in the old Western Region, established to produce men of letters imbued with discipline for a productive and decent life. The college came into being in an era of competition for excellence in academic performance and achievements in sports between public and missionary schools. The ultimate objective was to produce competent, diligent, disciplined, public-spirited individuals. In short, the products were meant to be good Nigerian citizens.

Welcome to GCUOBA

Welcome to the website of Government College Ughelli Old Boys Association.

The site has been given a face-lift and new functionality has been introduced to enhance increased contact between and amongst old boys which should lead to a more fluid flow of information.

The new site will not only act as a portal of information for the old boys but will undoubtedly increase awareness of the state and current status of the Great Old School and hopefully stir and inspire the Old Boys into making sure that the Ship does indeed "Keep on Sailing".
